Everything above was built by our own crews and equipment. When the ground turned up something the drawings did not show, the superintendent redirected them that morning.
What was hard
The county could not vacate the existing building, so the new facility had to go up beside a working fleet yard with vehicles moving through it every morning before six.
What we did
We built the new facility on the far parcel first and phased the yard's circulation twice, with our own crews doing the paving between phases at night so the fleet never lost access.
What it produced
Under construction. The fleet has kept full access through both circulation changes.
